Pre-production Episode 18

Hi all!

Jonny here with the latest update to the podcast and the Dominoes in general.

First, thankfully and gratefully, we made it through hurricane Ike with only losing about 20 shingles on our home. We really dodged a bullet here! MacDaddy stayed up all night while I managed to sleep through 70+ mph winds! Hey! I was REALLY tired!

Secondly, some of my extended family who live in the Houston area are just now getting their power back, so again, I'm thankful for that. Plus, we've had a cool front go through right after the storm and lingered since. Even though we're in the mid-80s in the afternoons, we have the low 60's in the morning which has been a relief to many experiencing life as it was 100 years ago.

Thirdly, with school kicking back into high gear, MacDaddy and MacMama were wise to delay the production of our weekly podcast. Frankly, homework in the 5th grade is already showing signs of being a bit tougher than homework last year. Ugh!

So, now that the storm is passed and I'm getting down the routine for the 5th grade, it looks like MacDaddy and I are going to be recording Episode 18 any day now. We hope to get it done this weekend. Regardless, with everything that's been going on, it looks like it's going to be an abbreviated episode which means "short and sweet".
