Starting a new blog is like being thrown into a lion's den. You don't know if they've just eaten or if they haven't been fed in days. One can only hope the former of the two.

So, here's my new blog which is a new horizon for me. I've never blogged before. I've sat on a log, driven through the fog, seen the smog, caught a frog, fed my dog, pulled out a clog, and petted a hog–but I've never blogged–until now.

I can't tell you the fun I've had with my dad, MacDaddy, in doing the podcasts. He has to cut a lot of bloopers because we end up laughing at each other so much. In fact, this week's episode 4, we decided to surprise our listeners with a blooper at the very end–after the regular ending. Sometimes, we laugh so hard our tummies ache. We have to beg each other to stop laughing.

Oh, another note on the podcast production. We live near a train, so when we can hear it about a mile away, we have to stop...and wait....and wait...until it finally goes by. One production evening, we had to wait for three of them in a row!

I hope you're enjoying the show. We're having a hoot doing it AND learning as we go. Most importantly, I hope that's its having a positive influence on you.
