Well, it has been a while!  But we have finally just posted our 22nd podcast!

Lots have happened since our last vidcast released quite a few months ago. I'm now a 6th grader and in middle school! I love it! I have a lot more freedom (and responsibility)! It's really cool – except for all of the homework. I'm studying a couple of hours a day now.

My tennis game is going pretty good. I'll be talking more about that in the podcasts to come.

We have revised our podcast format and shortened it even more to just around 9 minutes. We hope you enjoy the new format even though some things we decided not to change.

We're already working on Episode 23. Maybe this time it won't take so long to get it posted!

Hey everyone!

Jonny here giving you are latest update. Many of you may have already seen our first vidcast that can be seen my homepage as well as on iTunes. The iTunes version is a little longer mainly due to YouTube limiting vids to 10 minutes.

MacDaddy said that there's a couple of sound glitches on both, but being his first one, he was just glad to get it up and in time for Thanksgiving!

We hope you liked it. Our main objective was to finally introduce you, our subscribers, to who we are and what we actually look like! Now, you'll be able to put a name with a face!

So, MacDaddy is putting together our next podcast and we should have episode #21 posted before the end of this week. He's also in the middle of redesigning our website complete with new graphics and a whole new feel. He's really got a lot going on!

AND so do I as I wrap up the year at school and get ready for nice long Christmas break! Yeah! I love my school and all the great teachers. Being a 5th grader, it's my last year to attend this elementary school. I'm aware that for each event that passes, it will be the last time here. It's kinda sad, but I'm looking really forward to attending middle school next year. We'll see how it all goes, but for now, I'm enjoying this year and all my awesome friends!

We just published episode 19 and the response has been great so far! Thanks for your emails of encouragement and support. It really means a lot to me (and the rest of the bunch).

Episode 19 was kind of tough for me. You might be able to recognize that my voice wasn't the same. That's because I was fighting allergies all through the recording. Ugh! We still did it in record time though. We were amazed!

It's kind of funny now that we've been doing this for almost 20 episodes. MacDaddy and I used to be so concerned about all of the outside noises like trains and dogs barking–especially Sparky, my dog. Now, MacDaddy says it's like having a 2nd kid...something about not sterilizing the pacifier every time it falls on the floor. I'm not sure what that means, but the podcasts are way easier now.

So, I roughed out it and we're happy with it. It's done and out there being a blessing! Yay!

Now, we're focused like laser beams on our 20th episode "vidcast". We want it to be really special. We've been thinking about location, location, location. If you have any ideas, we'd love to hear them! Send me a quick email and let me know what you are thinking and we might just do it!  MacDaddy's pretty crazy and loves to try new things, but MacMama says the skydiving idea is out. Bummer!

Hi all!

Jonny here with the latest update to the podcast and the Dominoes in general.

First, thankfully and gratefully, we made it through hurricane Ike with only losing about 20 shingles on our home. We really dodged a bullet here! MacDaddy stayed up all night while I managed to sleep through 70+ mph winds! Hey! I was REALLY tired!

Secondly, some of my extended family who live in the Houston area are just now getting their power back, so again, I'm thankful for that. Plus, we've had a cool front go through right after the storm and lingered since. Even though we're in the mid-80s in the afternoons, we have the low 60's in the morning which has been a relief to many experiencing life as it was 100 years ago.

Thirdly, with school kicking back into high gear, MacDaddy and MacMama were wise to delay the production of our weekly podcast. Frankly, homework in the 5th grade is already showing signs of being a bit tougher than homework last year. Ugh!

So, now that the storm is passed and I'm getting down the routine for the 5th grade, it looks like MacDaddy and I are going to be recording Episode 18 any day now. We hope to get it done this weekend. Regardless, with everything that's been going on, it looks like it's going to be an abbreviated episode which means "short and sweet".

Jonny here with another update for you.

You may have just noticed that we've posted Episode 17. MacDaddy squeezed in the production in the middle of several other projects he has cookin' right now.

If you've already listened to Episode 17, then you've already heard that we have some programming changes ahead.

Since most of you know that, of course, I'm going into the 5th grade. MacDaddy and MacMama, my executive producers, are wanting me to hold on the podcast production until until after I get settled in and everyone has a chance to see how much extra time I'll have. Of course, school comes first and so do my grades!

We had a great time this summer and for the most part, we were able to keep on track. We even tried our first "live" podcast coming to you from our vacation in San Antonio! That was a blast and we hope to do that again real soon.

As MacDaddy mentioned in Episode 17, we've got some changes coming to the website, so visit us often there. 

Thanks for your emails of support and encouragement! It's great to hear especially from other young people wanting to this. That tells us that our message is having an influence on our listeners which is exactly what we want! Keep those cards and letters coming!

I hope you had a wonderful summer. We certainly did and we look ahead to the new fall season and all the upcoming episodes. Be watching for our 20th as we are hoping to do our first webcast or vidcast!
